Equis Feed and Oregon Horse Country are pairing up to offer local equestrians a once in a lifetime nutrition opportunity called “PNW Focus on Feed, Forage, and Trace Mineral Nutrition”! On January 25th, learn from a roomful of equine nutritionists how to improve your horses’ feed programs! Between noon and 4:00pm at the Tualatin Heritage Center, nutritionists from around the country will lecture on topics concerning the performance horse. We’ll be discussing how selenium, other trace minerals, omega-3 supplements and forage types influence your horses’ health. The keynote speaker is Dr. Carey Williams from Rutgers University who will bring you up to date on feeding the 21st century equine athlete. REGISTER HERE.
