Meet Taylor, the youngest member of our professional Equis Feed photo shoot. Taylor and her mom, Ann Shaw, joined other riders in Ellensburg, Washington on a cold November day to capture some amazing images unique to the Equis Feed brand. Equestrian friends from all over the state of Washington volunteered their time to take our Equis Feed marketing to the next level. You’ll see many of their faces in this blog and in regional periodicals like Flying Changes, Northwest Rider and Northwest Horse Source in 2015.
Each model was chosen to representative their riding discipline- everything from dressage and jumpers to mounted shooting, trail and even driving! And not a horse in sight. The equestrian models were fabulous in front of the camera, but there were many integral people behind the camera as well. I want to thank our amazing photographer, David Lundquist, who travelled all the way from St. Paul, Minnesota to shoot our new photos. Mr. Lundquist is CHS’s own professional photographer, and you can see more of his beautiful photography in CHS’s magazine, C News at c.chsinc.com. Also, a big thank you to Karin Saltzman who helped me to develop these image concepts on an eventful drive home from a horse show. And last but not least, my husband, Liam Shaw, for helping me create a photography studio in our living room. It was so much fun!
